Gatsby Requires You to Rebuild Your Front-end

Much like WP Engine’s Atlas Headless, Gatsby builds static sites the same way:

1. It uses a WordPress CMS instance
2. The WordPress CMS is equipped with GraphQL to make WordPress Data readable
3. It then feeds this data to a JS framework
4. Which is hosted on a Static host (they recommend Netlify)

If you’re a non-developer, read their tutorial and prepare for your eyes to bleed.

To summarize, this requires you to sacrifice your entire WordPress front-end template and rebuild it in a JS framework template.

Everything in the native Theme does not work with Gatsby.
